some与 some构成的合成词为一定词，用于一定的语境。any 与any构成的合成词为非一定词，用于非一定的语境。你不要用汉语翻译去硬套some和any,而是应该正确理解什么是一定语境，什么是非一定语境。语法书对你说，一般一定句为一定语境，否定句、疑问句和if条件句为非一定语境。
你的第一句中，虽然主句为一定句，但 any words被限制性定语从句修饰，该定语从句为否定句，你不确定其意义的单词，这就是不是定意义，即非一定意义。所以用any而不需要some.至于汉语翻译，你可以翻译为任何你不熟知的单词，也可以直接翻译为你不熟知的单词。第二句if引导的宾语从句本身就是由一般疑问句演变而来的，是不是= 是或者不是，这就是非一定。所以用any. 第三句就是一个一般疑问句。问句一般为非一定语境，所以用非一定词any.
但也不要以为疑问句肯定就要用非一定词，不可以用一定词。当说话人对一个问句期待一个一定的回答时，他就会用一定词。比如，大热天，你的朋友看起来又热又渴，你问到：Would youlike some water? 由于你感觉他会说yes的。假如你不了解某人是不是想喝水，你只不过问问，此时你用非一定词：Would youlike any water?
一定句也大概表示非一定语境。情态动词can.could, will, would等都可以表示一种可能性，不定式to do也可以表示可能发生的动作，但这类都是不确定的，未必肯定发生的，此时就能用非一定词表示不确定性。比如：
Anychild can solve this problem. Anyonewould like it.
但当你用一般过去时表示确定在过去发生的事实时，这就是一定的语境，用非一定词就是语法错误了。
Anyonedid it. He solved any problems. 这都是错句。要改为some系列的词。
